A 5-litre can of cleaner is mostly water, shipped in plastic. A sachet ships only the concentrate, and your team adds the water from the tap. These figures are worked out from simple weights. They are estimates, not lab results.

- Plastic: (litres ÷ 5) × (200 g for an empty 5-litre HDPE can − the weight of 5 empty sachets). The can weight is the 200 g listed by two packaging suppliers. The sachet weight is left blank until we measure it.
- Water: litres × about 1 kg. The concentrate is left out, because it ships either way.
- CO₂: water not shipped, in tonnes, × delivery distance in km × 0.0877 kg CO₂ per tonne-km. That factor is the India GHG Program's 0.307 kg CO₂ per km for a light goods vehicle under 3.5 tonnes, divided by its 3.5-tonne capacity. It covers delivery only, not making the product.
- Hand wash sachets make 500 ml, so every figure assumes 1-litre sachets (dishwash, floor cleaner, multi-surface).
